Wireless Telecom Group Announces Appointment of Daniel Monopoli as CTO

Parsippany, New Jersey – Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. (NYSE MKT:WTT), a leading provider of high-performance radio frequency infrastructure and test & measurement solutions for wireless and advanced communications, announced today that Daniel Monopoli has been appointed the Company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective June 30, 2017. Daniel joined Wireless Telecom Group in September 2015 as the General Manager of the Test & Measurement segment overseeing the Boonton Electronics and Noisecom businesses.

As CTO, Daniel will be responsible for product development, product management and marketing across the Wireless Telecom Group segments. He will lead and innovate the go-to-market strategy, R&D process and product roadmap while driving activities in line with a commitment to engineering quality, performance excellence and product innovation.

“Since joining Wireless Telecom Group as General Manager of Test & Measurement, Dan has reinvigorated the product roadmap, initiated exciting product investments, improved our sales channel, launched new products to attack new markets, and demonstrated his leadership capabilities,” said Tim Whelan, CEO of Wireless Telecom Group. Whelan continued, “I am particularly impressed with Dan’s ability to focus on increasing revenue, bookings and backlog while simultaneously driving product development and marketing strategy. I am thrilled to have Dan in this new CTO role to help us establish a vision and strategy for the future that spans our business segments and aligns them on emerging customer applications, industry trends and market needs.

Mr. Monopoli has more than 15 years of experience defining, developing, marketing, selling and supporting high-tech products in fast-paced, competitive markets. He held various positions of increasing responsibility at Teledyne LeCroy for 13 years before joining Wireless Telecom Group in 2015. He holds an MBA from Columbia University, Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Binghamton University.
